Thirty members of six Greek societies took part in the 32nd annual Charlotte Area CROP Hunger Walk Oct. 4, helping to organize and assist the area walkers and coordinators as the event took place in Bennett Park in Charlotte.

Dozens of walkers braved the cold and damp to raise funds to fight hunger locally and globally. More than 50 pounds of non-perishable food was collected as well.
