Events Planned for National Hispanic Heritage Month

The Office of Multicultural Education is recognizing National Hispanic Heritage Month recognized through Oct. 15 oncampus.

During this time, important contributions made by Hispanic and Latino Americans to the United States are recognized and celebrated through the following events:

*Immigration Law - Thursday, Oct. 11, 8-9 p.m., Burrage Library, featuring Immigration Law Attorney Collein Reid of Reid Law Offices, PLC. Snacks and CJ study tables will follow.

*Fiesta Friday, featuring authentic Mexican cuisine, a salsa bar and live music - Friday, Oct. 12, 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., in the Kirk Center.

*ZUMBA, tness class hosted by OC Alum Mindy Otto - Sunday, Oct. 14, 8:30-9:30 p.m., Upton Gymnasium.
