Duo Featured in Latest Art Exhibit

The first exhibition of the new school year is entitled “The Land,” and features work by artists Ed Wong-Ligda and Bill Hosterman.

The works are on display through Sept. 20 in the Kresge Foundation Art Gallery of the Riethmiller Blackman Art Building. It is free and open to the public.

Wong-Ligda is from California but has lived in Michigan for 25 years, teaching at Grand Valley State University (GVSU) in design and illustration. Hosterman is also a professor at GVSU primarily in printmaking. He served a Fulbright Scholarship in Johannesburg, South Africa.

During Homecoming week a new display will be launched featuring the work of the late and former art professor Bill Whitney. A reception will be help at 5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 28.
