Echo Staff

Three students will be taking over the vacated management spots at Olivet College’s student media.

Senior Daniel Neugent, a sophomore from East Lansing, will become the manager of WOCR, the student radio station. Neugent, a resident advisor and art student, has been a voice on sports broadcast live on WOCR 89.1. He takes over for Travis Oberlin, a graduating senior from Marshall.

Freshman Brian Freiberger of Onsted has been named editor of the Echo, an award-winning student newspaper. A journalism and mass communication major, Freiberger is also on the Comet football team. He takes over for Mitchell Galloway, a graduating senior from Coldwater.

Leading the team that produces the annual literary and arts magazine, the Garfield Lake Review, will be sophomore Joshua Scheidler, an English major from Union City. Jessica Doster, a graduating senior, is producing this year’s Garfield Lake Review, which will be released April 6.

Each year, students are invited to apply for these leadership positions.
