Women’s Basketball rives at Home is Season By Leslie Phillips 2017-18 Team Featured Seven Freshmen

The Olivet College women’s bas- ketball team has had a 7-16 season overall, winning three conference games up to a scheduled Feb. 14 match at Calvin.Coach Zach Ingles, in his second season, has said this will be a building year for the comets.Conference wins came against St. Mary’s, Adrian, and Alma.Freshman Sydnee Dennis saidof the Jan. 27 home game, a 55-47 win against St. Mary’s, “The crowd got hype and helped the spirit of the game.”Daitriona Bonds, junior, said “The crowd support, motivates us.”Grace Clark, freshman said the team “didn’t give up and executed on o ense.”The nal game was scheduled for Feb. 17 at home against Hope.
