Happy Halloween?

Despite the rain, the stands were full and the OC Cheerleaders were urging on the team/Courtesy Photo

October 31. Tricks: The weather, a relentless Albion frontline, too little touchdowns too late. Treats: Few if any, as Albion took the MIAA no-loss season away from the Olivet Comets, 49-21 at Olivet.

Still, the Britons did not manage to steal the first place crown from the Comets, who lead the MIAA with a 4-1 record.

The Saturday Halloween game started and ended with rain, but the sloppy field and day did not produce any turn-overs. Comet quarterback, junior Braden Black, was 17-27 for his passing game, but the Britons led in passing, 373 to 145 yards.

Olivet has one more MIAA game to go, Nov. 14 at Alma. On Nov. 7, the Comets travel to Concordia, Wisconsin, for a non-conference game.
