What's creeping around Mott hallways?

Name: Bowser

Species: Bearded Dragon

Scientific Name: Pogona

Age: Between 7-9 years old

Sex: Male

 

Bowser was taken care of very well,He was not a rescue. A student was moving into the residence halls and couldn’t keep him in the room. Professor Leah Knapp said that she would take care of him for the student.

All of these critters are residents of Mott’s first floor.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Name: Molly

Species: Bunny

 

Scientific Name: Oryctoagus Cuniculus

Sex: Female

 

Molly was a baby bunny at a pet store named Soldan’s. She was diagnosed with a brain infection, petronella, which is 95 percent fatal. She has since recovered, but Molly has neurological issues. She is completely deaf and has spine compulsively in a clockwise manner.

 

 

 

 

 

Name: Oscar

Species: Desert Iguana

Scientific Name: Dipsosaurus Dorsalis

Sex: Male

 

Oscar is the newest addition to Olivet College. He was

obtained from someone who didn’t know how to take care of him. Oscar suffers from Maladjustment Syndrome. Last semester he relapsed, but fully recovered over the summer.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Name: Sneakers

Species: Ball Python

Scientific Name: Python Regius

 

Sex: Male

 

Sneakers was owned by a guy that didn’t know how take care of him, only feeding him once to twice a month. Knapp

convinced him to allow

Sneakers to be used as a

teaching animal. He is now fed once to twice a week. He is much better and extremely docile and friendly.

 

 

 

 

Name: JoJo

Species: Sulcata Tortoise

Scientific Name: Cantrochelys Sulcata

 

Age: Mid 50’s

Sex: Male

 

JoJo was very well taken care of before arriving here. He

belonged to an animal

educator at Binder Park Zoo. He was getting too big for the educator and was kept in a walk in closet, but JoJo wanted freedom so he dug hmself out and ate some installation in the process.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Name: Thurston

Species: Turtle

Scientific Name: Testudines

Sex: Female

 

Thurston belonged to a

previous student. She was moving and wasn’t able to keep him anymore. the student

donated Thurston to Knapp. She is very well cared for now in Mott.
