"Write it so they read it!" Event Provides Professional Writing Assistance to OC



Gamma Iota Sigma and the Insurance and Risk Management Program are working together to bring Olivet College (OC) an event designed to help teach people how to write professionally and effectively. In an email from Jason Meadows, associate dean of Student Life, marketing materials for the event will provide, "solutions to getting your emails opened, read, and acted upon.”


Thomas Humphreys, director of the Insurance and Risk Management Program, said,

“[The event] will provide direction and tips on writing emails that are effective and get recipients to take action on your correspondence.”


Audience members will hear from Mandi Stanley as the keynote speaker for the event.


Her website, mandistanley.com said, “Mandi Stanely works primarily with business leaders who want to boost their professional image by becoming better speakers and writers.”


Everyone in the OC community is welcome to join. Humphreys said, “ANYONE who would like tips on composing subject lines and content that will get emails opened and acted upon should attend.”
