Campus Scholarship Deadlines March 8

Olivet students have a number of campus-based scholarships to apply for each spring. Deadlines for those scholarships is Friday, March 8.

The Women’s Board of Olivet College, which has been a student supportsince 1859, offers a scholarship to all students with a 3.5 gpa or above and who perform community service.

Each year, the Alumni Association Board and several individual alumnio er awards and scholarships to Olivet College students. This year, there are two awards and up to ten (10) Alumni Board scholarships available in amounts ranging from $250 to $1,000.

The Lenora Belle Hazard Memorial Award was established in honor of the late Lenora Belle Hazard, mother of Vern Hazard ’83. This award is given to a current student who has written a judged essay on how his or her music education will in uence his or her life after graduation. All current students may apply.

The William Buchanan Award was established in honor of the late William Buchanan, former English professor at Olivet College. This award is given to a graduating senior who has written a judged essay on how his or her English or journalism major will influence his orher life after graduation. Students who graduated in December 2018 or are graduating in May 2019 may apply.
