This year’s Founders’ Day begins with a 9 a.m. bell ringing in the Square on Wednesday, Feb. 19. There will also be grave side remarks following the bell-ringing, in the Olivet Cemetery.

A special birthday cake will be featured during the lunch hours at the Kirk Center.

A program commemorating its 175th Founders’ Day Celebration will also be held on Feb. 20, at 1:30 p.m.in Mott Academic Center Auditorium. This event will feature comments from Olivet College President Steven M. Corey and special student presentations on the College — past, present and future.

Following program, the Hosford History Center and Lawrence Archives, on the corner of Main and Yale streets, will be open. The house has been newly renovated to accommodate the Olivet College archives, and will feature “Students through Time” displays and cookies and hot chocolate.
