Photo contest debuting in February

The Echo student newspaper and the Olivet College Marketing Department are debuting a photograph contest from Feb. 1 through Feb. 28 that will have three Visa gift card prizes for the top three photos shot during the month of February.

The gifts are $150 for first place, $100 for second place, and $50 for third place. Prizes will be awarded March 7.

Olivet students, staff, and faculty may enter the contest.

Photographs submitted during the contest must represent winter and student life at Olivet. There will be unlimited submissions per person. Profanity, drugs, or alcohol in any photo will not be considered.

Photographs must meet the following requirements:

JPEG format only, up to 10 MB. A minimum size of 6 inches x 9 inches. The photographers name and Olivet affiliation and a caption for the photo.

Photos must be shot on Olivet’s campus with a specific location.

The Echo and the Olivet Marketing Department will have all rights to a photograph after submission to use on ocecho.com and olivetcollege.edu along with the affiliates social media accounts.

Any photographs reproduced will include a photographer credit.
