Free Olivet Community Wellness Fair May 3

Another annual Olivet Community Wellness Fair is set for Tuesday, May 3 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Olivet Middle School at 255 First St.

The event is open free to all ages, and will feature more than 40 exhibitors with medical, dental, pharmaceutical and mental health info, wholesome food ideas, senior citizen well being, programs for family exercise and recreation, youth sports, camp sign ups, environmental concerns, home and child safety and family gardening. Most exhibitors will have printed material and product samples for fair goers.

A free “Feelin’ Groovy” dinner will be served from 5:30 to 6:45 p.m. in the Middle School Cafe. Youth activities for ages 4 to 12 will be provided from 5:45 to 7:15 p.m. in the Middle School Gym, and a Meijer sponsored youth bicycle raffle will be held at 7:15 p.m.

The Wellness Fair is organized by the Olivet Community District Wellness Committee and sponsored by the Battle Creek Community Foundation, Gordon Food Service, the United Dairy Industry of Michigan, Hayes Green Beach and Oaklawn Hospitals, E.S.C.A.P.E. Inc., Olivet PTO and Olivet Schools Food Service.
